A flurry of retail and tech earnings reports, the Federal Reserve’s preferred inflation measure, and changes to the Dow Jones Industrial Average’s membership will take center stage this week.

Monday

Before the market opens, Amazon.com will replace Walgreens Boots Alliance as one of the 30 members of the Dow Jones Industrial Average. Earnings to watch on Monday include updates from Zoom Video Communications, Workday, and Domino’s Pizza.

Tuesday

American Tower, eBay, Monster Beverage, Macy’s, Lowe’s, First Solar, Beyond Meat, and Urban Outfitters will be reporting on Tuesday.

Wednesday

Keep an eye on reports from Salesforce, TJX Companies, Snowflake, Baidu, Paramount Global, and C3.ai on Wednesday.

Thursday

Anheuser-Busch Inbev, Best Buy, Six Flags Entertainment, and Sweetgreen will share their updates on Thursday. The economic highlight of the week will be the Bureau of Economic Analysis’ personal-consumption expenditures index for January, especially the core PCE which is expected to show a year-over-year gain of 2.8%.

Friday

Closing out the week, Plug Power and fuboTV will be providing their weekly updates.

The Bureau of Economic Analysis will release its second of three estimates for fourth-quarter gross domestic product. Economists forecast a revision from the original estimate of 3.3% to 2.8%.

The Bureau will also release the personal-consumption expenditures index for January. The consensus estimate indicates an expected rise of 2.4% in PCE year over year and 2.8% in the core measure.
